In what has become recognized as the longest ever match played at a Tennis Open tournament, the American John Isner defeated the French man Nicolas Mahut in a match spanning three days and a total of 11 hours and 5 minutes.

  • Novak Djokovic (3) vs. Olivier Rochus was the latest finish at Wimbledon, which finished at 22:58, two minutes before the 23:00 curfew. Novak won the match by defeated Rochus, 4:6, 6:2, 3:6, 6:4, 6:2.
  • Taylor Dent set the serve speed record by serving a 148 mph serve which beat Andy Roddick's 146 mph serve in 2009.
